Digital Marketing London & The Digital Loungers have joined forces to bring you an evening of drinks, entertainment, great quality industry networking and fun. The event is free to attend for members of the Digital Loungers and Digital Marketing London simply provide a link to your Linkedin profile on registration.

Doors open at 6.30pm for drinks and networking and from 7.30pm and you will be entertained by two short but very special Christmas themed presentations & seasonal music quiz:

Last.fm SVP, International Sales, Miles Lewis takes us on a journey to discover the music people really love to listen to at Christmas. You can also test your Christmas music knowledge in our special quiz with 10 tickets for ‘last.fm presents’ events up for grabs.

In his presentation Miles will demonstrate the power of the Last.fm scrobbler to give some amusing insights in to people’s music habits at Christmas. Which of the old classics is the most popular? Which is the one people are most embarrassed to admit liking? Are there any differences between countries / regions in Europe or within the UK? Which UK city has the most awful taste in Christmas music? Which songs / acts are going to be big over this festive season and how do we know? and top tips for bands to watch out for in 2010 if you want to be cool.

Paul shows how a variety of businesses process User Generated Content (UGC) to move customers up the digital ladder amidst the white heat of hyper competition. Paul also shows how UGC is used to create a unique Christmas gift – a collection of 2 minute true stories about amazing gestures of goodwill from sports people around the world.
